April is Heartworm Awareness Month 🐾

Heartworm disease is one of those conditions that often goes unnoticed until it's already serious. It's spread through mosquito bites, which makes it a year-round concern here in the Philippines. By the time symptoms appear, the disease may have already progressed significantly.

The good news is that it's preventable. If your dog isn't on a heartworm prevention plan yet, this month is a good time to bring it up with your vet 💙

Holy Week is here, and if you're traveling or leaving your pet at home, a little preparation goes a long way 🐾

Make sure they have enough food, water, and a safe, comfortable space. If you're bringing them along, keep them hydrated and never leave them inside a parked car. And if your pet is on maintenance medication, make sure you have enough supply for the break.

We'd like to gently remind everyone about the importance of honoring your scheduled appointments 💙

When a client does not show up for their booking, that time slot is lost. Time that could have been given to another pet in need of care. As much as we accommodate both appointments and walk-ins, please note that walk-in cases (unless emergency) may experience a waiting time of 1 to 3 hours depending on our scheduled patients.

We do not require a booking fee because we believe in building trust with our clients. In return, we sincerely ask for your cooperation in respecting your appointment schedule, or informing us ahead of time if you are unable to come.

Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future appointment bookings, but you will still be very welcome to visit us as a walk-in patient.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide better care to all our patients 🐾
