If you see an animal stranded in floodwaters due to chained collars or locked cages, extend a helping hand by freeing them from what’s holding them back. Give them a chance to survive and live on. Never leave them behind.

When typhoons, floods, and earthquakes hit, farm animals are often left behind, vulnerable and forgotten. Their safety matters too. Let’s push for inclusive disaster preparedness that protects all lives, human and animal alike. 💪🌪️🌾

“Dad, You Came for Me… I Thought I Was Going to Die.”

A True Story of Loyalty, Fear, and Love During the Flood 🐾💔

A man named Phito was caught on video wading through deep, rushing floodwaters in Kalibo, Aklan - just to find and save his missing little puppy.

While most people stayed safe inside their homes because of the heavy rain and strong current, he went outside. He searched through the tall grass, calling out for his dog.

And when he finally found him... the poor puppy was already being pulled by the strong flood, scared and struggling. 🥺

Without hesitation, Kuya Phito rushed to him, held him gently, and helped him climb to safety.

It was such a powerful moment…

full of love and quiet bravery.

Not everyone would do what he did.
But he did it... all for his dog.

Thank you, Kuya Phito.

You didn’t just save your pet,

You reminded us what real compassion looks like. 🐾💛
