WELLNESS STARTS WITH KNOWING YOUR PET IS READY.

At Fitchiee Animal Clinic, wellness is more than simply giving vaccines or preventive treatments. We believe that proper assessment should come first before protection.

Our wellness services for dogs and cats may include:

💉 Routine Vaccinations
🪱 Deworming
🐜 Anti-Tick & Flea Prevention
🛡️ Advocate
🐶 Kennel Cough Vaccine
💉 Biocan M
❤️ Anti-Rabies Vaccination

FIRST-TIME VISIT FOR WELLNESS? PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
For pets coming to our clinic for the first time to avail of any wellness service, we require CBC + Blood Glucose Testing, together with a physical examination by our veterinarian, before proceeding.

Why do we require this?

Because looking healthy on the outside does not always tell us everything about your pet’s current condition. These basic tests provide our veterinary team with additional information to help determine whether your pet can proceed with the planned wellness service or if further assessment may be recommended.

Our protocol is simple:
CHECK → ASSESS → PROCEED WITH THE APPROPRIATE WELLNESS CARE

A gentle reminder to all furparents:
Every veterinary clinic may have its own protocols, wellness programs, and requirements. What is required or recommended in one clinic may be different from another. These differences do not necessarily mean that one approach is better or worse—each veterinary team may establish protocols based on their professional judgment, patient assessment, and clinic policies.

At Fitchiee Animal Clinic, this is the protocol and wellness program we follow for our first-time wellness patients, and we kindly ask our clients to respect and understand our clinic guidelines. ❤️

Our goal is not to make wellness complicated. We simply want to properly assess each patient before proceeding with preventive care.

Prevention is important, but proper assessment comes first.

Thank you for trusting Fitchiee Animal Clinic with your furbabies-because we have warm heart to your cold nose❤️🫶🏻

✂️ THE GLOW-UP IS REAL!

A little trim, a lot of love, and voilà—fresh, fluffy, and looking pawsitively adorable! 🐶❤️

Thank you, furparents, for trusting Fitchiee Animal Clinic with your babies’ grooming day. We love seeing those happy faces after every fresh cut! 🛁✨

📌 GROOMING REMINDERS FOR OUR FURPARENTS:

💉 We highly recommend keeping your pet’s Anti-Rabies vaccination updated before grooming. This is for the protection of your beloved pet, our groomer, and everyone handling them during their visit.

🐾 Grooming is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. We have a daily cut-off depending on the number and arrival of clients, so we encourage coming early to secure a slot.

🩺 Your pet’s safety always comes first. Before proceeding with grooming, our groomer performs an initial physical assessment. If your dog or cat appears pale, weak, unwell, or shows anything that may need medical attention, grooming may be declined or postponed and your pet will be referred to our veterinarian for a proper check-up first.

✨ Health and safety before beauty—always. We want every grooming experience to be as safe and comfortable as possible. ❤️🐶🐱

Every pet that enters our clinic becomes part of a story.

Some stories end with happy tails, joyful reunions, and successful recoveries.

Others leave us with tears, heavy hearts, and difficult goodbyes.

Those are the days people rarely see.

The truth is, veterinarians and veterinary staff carry every patient in their hearts. We celebrate every victory, but we also mourn every loss.

Although we cannot save every life, we can promise that every pet is treated with respect, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

Because to us, every patient is worth fighting for❤️🫶🏻

Continuing education is the foundation of exceptional veterinary care.❤️

At Fitchiee Animal Clinic, we believe that every pet deserves access to the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. We are proud to share that our Senior Veterinarian, Dr. Glenn Mar-ri Santos Gabriel, has successfully completed the Advanced Studies in Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound with Workshops conducted by the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS Asia) in Guangzhou, China last august 26 to 29, 2026

This intensive international program focused on advanced diagnostic ultrasound, equipping veterinarians with the knowledge and practical skills to diagnose diseases more accurately, make faster clinical decisions, and improve patient outcomes.

Topics covered during the course included:

🩺 Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), A-FAST & T-FAST
Focused on emergency and critical care ultrasound, enabling rapid bedside assessment of trauma patients, internal bleeding, pleural and abdominal effusions, pericardial disease, and fluid status—allowing life-saving decisions within minutes.

❤️ Systematic Review of the Major Abdominal Vessels
An in-depth study of the abdominal vascular anatomy, including the aorta, caudal vena cava, portal vein, hepatic veins, and their branches, providing a structured approach to identifying normal and abnormal vascular patterns.

🫀 Diagnosis of Congenital Portosystemic Shunts (PSS)
Advanced ultrasonographic techniques for detecting congenital vascular abnormalities where blood bypasses the liver, resulting in neurological, gastrointestinal, and metabolic disorders. The course emphasized accurate diagnosis for timely surgical or medical management.

🩸 Portal Hypertension and Acquired Portosystemic Shunts
Understanding the causes of increased portal pressure associated with chronic liver disease and learning to recognize secondary collateral blood vessels that develop as compensation, which are essential for prognosis and treatment planning.

🩻 Arteriovenous Malformations and Other Vascular Anomalies
Comprehensive Doppler ultrasound evaluation of rare vascular disorders, including abnormal artery-to-vein communications and congenital or acquired vascular malformations affecting blood flow.

👁️ Ultrasound of the Eye and Head
Advanced imaging of ocular and periocular structures to evaluate retinal detachment, lens luxation, cataracts, intraocular masses, retrobulbar lesions, foreign bodies, and selected head abnormalities when conventional examination is limited.

🦴 Ultrasound of the Neck
A systematic approach to examining the cervical region, including the thyroid gland, salivary glands, lymph nodes, larynx, trachea, major blood vessels, and surrounding soft tissues for inflammatory, neoplastic, and traumatic conditions.

🫁 Thoracic Ultrasound
Practical applications in diagnosing pleural effusion, pneumothorax, pulmonary consolidation, mediastinal masses, diaphragmatic disorders, and cardiac-related thoracic diseases, especially in emergency and critical care patients.

Why does this matter?

Every new technique learned means:
✔️ Earlier disease detection
✔️ More accurate diagnoses
✔️ Better treatment planning
✔️ Less invasive diagnostic procedures
✔️ Improved survival rates for critically ill patients
✔️ Better outcomes for the pets we care for every day

At Fitchiee Animal Clinic, we remain committed to continuous education because veterinary medicine never stops evolving—and neither do we.

This achievement reflects our promise to bring international standards, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and compassionate patient care to every family who entrusts us with their beloved companions.

To our clients, thank you for your continued trust. We are honored to grow, learn, and serve you with excellence—because your pets deserve the very best. ❤️🫶🏻

Home to Heal, One Day at a Time. ❤️

At 10 years old, our brave patient Hash has shown incredible strength throughout this journey. Today, we’re grateful to share that Hash has been safely discharged and is now resting comfortably at home, surrounded by the love and care of the family.

During Hash’s stay, the following procedures and treatments were successfully completed:

-Spay Surgery
-Mammary Tumor Removal using a Skin Flap Reconstruction Technique to close and reconstruct the surgical site following the removal of the mass.
-Management of a Suspected Vaginal Tumor
-Treatment for Blood Parasites

Before surgery, we performed a Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)/Smear Cytology as part of Hash’s diagnostic work-up to help evaluate the masses. Following the successful removal of the affected tissues, the samples were submitted for histopathology (biopsy) to obtain a definitive diagnosis and guide the next steps in Hash’s treatment plan.

Due to the size of the surgical defect after tumor removal, a skin flap reconstruction technique was carefully performed to provide adequate tissue coverage, reduce tension on the surgical wound, preserve healthy blood supply, and promote optimal healing.

Hash is now back where healing happens best—at home, receiving plenty of rest, love, and tender care while we patiently await the biopsy results.

Hash’s journey reminds us of something we hold close to our hearts: not every patient can be saved, but every patient deserves the same unwavering compassion, dedication, and quality veterinary care. While the outcome is never entirely in our hands, we remain committed to doing everything medically possible for every pet entrusted to us. Through timely diagnosis, advanced surgical techniques, appropriate treatment, and compassionate care, we strive to give every patient the best possible chance at healing and a better quality of life.

Senior pets deserve every opportunity to receive advanced, compassionate veterinary care. Age should never be a barrier to treatment. With timely diagnosis, appropriate surgical techniques, proper medical management, and dedicated aftercare, they can continue to enjoy a comfortable and meaningful quality of life.

Thank you to Hash’s loving family for trusting Fitchiee Animal Clinic with Hash’s care. We are praying for favorable biopsy results and wish our brave senior patient a smooth, comfortable, and speedy recovery.

We’ll see you at your follow-up visit soon, Hash. Keep healing—we’re all root ❤️🫶🏻🙏🏻
