A case of urolithiasis in cats

It refers to the formation of urinary stones (uroliths) in the urinary tract, commonly in the bladder or urethra.

Symptoms:
-Straining to urinate
-Frequent urination or attempts
-Blood in urine
-Vocalization or pain during urination
-Urinary blockage (especially in male cats), which is an emergency

Urolithiasis is diagnosed using urinalysis, radiographs, and ultrasound to detect urinary stones and evaluate urine characteristics. In this case, ultrasound was used.

If your pet is straining to p*e or not urinating, go to the vet immediately. It could be life-threatening.

Parvo (canine parvovirus) is a highly contagious and often deadly virus that affects dogs, especially puppies. It attacks the gastrointestinal system, causing severe vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and weakness. Immediate veterinary care is critical, and vaccination is the best prevention.

If you suspect that your pet having this kind of signs, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Transmissible venereal tumor (TVT)

TVT's can spread between dogs. It is sexually transmitted through direct skin-to-skin contact with the tumor that results in cancer cells being transplanted from dog to dog. If you suspect that your pet having this kind of lesion, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Mosquito coils (KATOL) are commonly used to repel mosquitoes, but they can be toxic to dogs if ingested or if they inhale the fumes. Most mosquito coils contain synthetic insecticides like pyrethroids which can be harmful to animals, especially dogs.

Here are the common signs that you need to watch out:
-Vomiting
-Drooling
-Seizures or tremors
-Excessive panting
-Lethargy or weakness
-Difficulty breathing

If you suspect that your dog has been exposed to a mosquito coil, contact a veterinarian immediately.
