“Focus on ready-to-eat food and ample drinking water, avoiding items like ‘bigas’ (uncooked rice) that require cooking. Beyond sustenance, the kit must contain basic hygiene supplies like toilet paper, a flashlight, a whistle for signaling, and a small amount of cash,” said Civil Defense NCR Regional Director George F. Keyser.

He added that the Go Bag should be stored in an easily accessible location, such as near the main exit of the home, with every family member knowing its whereabouts.
