Urinary bladder stones (uroliths) are rock-like mineral formations that build up inside a dog’s bladder. They can cause painful irritation, chronic inflammation, and in severe cases, dangerous blockages that require emergency care.

This is "SUGAR" and her urinary bladder stones we surgically removed. She's been suffering with the condition for a very long time, and now she's finally urinary bladder stone free! It is still a long road to recovery, but she's been such a brave girl. ✨

Key Signs to Watch Out For:

Straining or Pain While Urinating (Dysuria): Posturing to p*e repeatedly with little to no output, or whimpering while trying.

Blood in the Urine (Hematuria): Pink, reddish, or tea-colored urine.

Frequent Attempts: Asking to go outside to p*e far more frequently than usual.

Licking the Ge***al Area: Licking excessively due to discomfort or inflammation.

Lethargy or Loss of Appetite: Acting unusually tired, restless, or refusing food.

🚨 Emergency Warning: If your dog (especially a male dog) is straining and unable to pass any urine, seek immediate emergency veterinary care. A complete urinary blockage can become life-threatening within hours.

Our little fighter "RAA" is getting a literal lifeline today. ❤️🐾

This puppy is currently undergoing a blood transfusion to combat severe anemia caused by a triple threat of blood parasites: Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Babesia.

It’s heartbreaking to see them so weak, but this transfusion is the crucial first step to getting them back on their feet. It’s a long road to recovery, but we are taking it one heartbeat at a time.

A stark reminder of how dangerous ticks can be. Please, check your pets for ticks and keep up with their preventatives.

The toughest little warrior just beat the biggest fight of her life. 🐾💛

After a long, grueling battle with Parvo, our sweet Lily is officially a survivor! There were moments we weren’t sure she’d make it, but her spirit never gave up—and neither did her incredible family. They waited, prayed, and held onto hope every single day until she could finally come back where she belongs.

Did you know that unspayed female dogs are at risk for a hidden, life-threatening emergency? 🚨

Let’s talk about Pyometra. It’s a severe, fast-moving bacterial infection of the uterus that typically strikes 2 to 8 weeks after a female dog finishes her heat cycle.

Because the signs can be vague at first, it’s easy to miss until it becomes a critical emergency. Here is what to watch out for in an unspayed dog:

💧 Drinking water excessively and urinating more often 💤 Sudden lethargy or weakness
🛑 Loss of appetite or vomiting
🩸 Unexplained vaginal discharge (though in "closed" pyometra, there is no discharge at all)

Left Side ("NORMAL"): healthy uterine horn and body. The tissue is thin, uniform, and relatively small.

Right Side ("ABNORMAL"): severely enlarged/distended and pus/fluid-filled uterus.

The absolute best way to prevent pyometra? Spaying your dog.

If you have an intact female dog who is acting "off" a few weeks after her heat, do not wait. Bring her to the vet immediately—early detection saves lives. 🐾🩺

Our primary priority remains the health and well-being of your beloved pets, and we are doing everything we can to minimize disruptions while ensuring we provide the high-quality care you expect from us.
