Another interesting case

Canine Urethrostomy

Collar, a 5 year old dog was brought by the owners for a consultation with a chief complaint of difficulty in urination, recurrent already. Several laboratory tests were conducted. Radiographs reveals a small stone blocked on his urethra causing the patient to struggle during urination. Unfortunately, Collar also was diagnosed of having Blood Parasitism at the same time.

After thorough examinations and medical interventions, we have finally decided to surgically remove the stone and performed Canine Urethrostomy to prevent recurrent urinary blockage.
