These are the additions to the plumeria (kalachuchi) collection for the yard at Puu Kahea once built. They come from the Siit Arboretum, a botanic garden and conservation area in Zamboanguita, Negros Occidental.

“Puu Kahea” in Hawaiian is the name of a variety of plumeria (Kalachuchi) which we be growing in abundance on site once the house is built, among other local and exotic plants…

“Puu Kahea” is also the name of a hill near the town of Kaneohe on the island of Oahu where Hiiaka, the sister of Pele (the Goddess of Creation in Hawaiian lore) is said to have chanted, giving it the name “Calling Hill” in English.
