⚠️ PUBLIC ADVISORY ⚠️

Someone has apparently created a Viber account using our Veterinarian, Dr. Athaliah Jan Lagon's name and photo and recently attempted to scam a member of our clinic staff.

❗️Their Method of Operation:
- They will call and chat the clinic's viber number claiming to be another veterinarian and will try to endorse or refer a patient and client.
- Using another viber number, they will now claim to be our veterinarian using the same name and profile picture asking if some veterinarian has called for a referral.
- They will ask for money or downpayment thru gcash or bank transfer.

❗️Reminder
Please be advised that Dr. Athaliah Jan Lagon or Brave Hearts Veterinary Clinic will never request loans, cash transfers, or financial assistance via Viber, Messenger, SMS, or social media.

If you receive any message claiming to be our Veterinarian and asking for money, please do not send anything; verify with our clinic first through our contact numbers 0915 469 3505.

Please help by reporting and blocking the account.

Before ending the month, we would like to thank everyone for joining us in celebrating our 1st anniversary last May 20, 2026. We are very grateful for your unwavering trust and loyalty. We also thank all our partners, suppliers, friends and family for your continued support.

🩺𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑬 𝑺𝑷𝑶𝑻𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻

Potpot, a 6 month old mixed Persian calico cat was brought in our clinic due to a traumatic eye injury. The injury happen about 4 days prior. The owner tried to apply some topical eye drops as a first aid for a couple of days but the eye condition seemed to have gotten worse.

Upon consultation and physical examination, the patient was squinting and almost couldn't open her left eye. The patient's left eye presents severely inflamed eyelids and conjunctiva, corneal laceration, corneal neovascularization and abnormally enlarged eyeball due to increased intraocular pressure.

After a thorough assessment and evaluation, the patient was brought home with a few prescription medications to help with the eye condition and was required to return for a follow up check weekly.

After 2 weeks of management, patient returns being more bright and active. Eye has returned to its normal size, inflammation and swelling has subsided and corneal laceration has healed leaving a white scar on the corneal surface.

- Squinting of the eye
- Eye discharges
- Clouding
- Redness
- Excessive pawing or rubbing on surfaces
- Abnormal size of eyeball (unilateral or bilateral)

Eye problems can get worse fast. If you see this signs, don't wait have them checked right away to prevent further complications.
