🧷Step 1: Float the Bag (15–30 Mins)
Let the sealed bag float in your tank. This equalizes the water temperature so your Betta doesn't get a sudden thermal shock. (Aim for a cozy 78°F–80°F!)
🧷Step 2 & 3: The Slow Mix (Every 5 Mins)
Open the bag and gradually add a small amount (about 25%) of your tank water into it. Repeat this every 5 minutes for about half an hour. This slowly introduces them to your tank's specific pH and water chemistry.

If you want to be extra safe, test the pH and ammonia of both waters to ensure they are a close match.
