Dear ,

One of the usual questions i get is- where can the cats stay? Where do they go? Sometimes they find it hard to believe that the answer is, anywhere they want! Our cats live among us like family. They usually follow me around so if i go into a room, they find a spot and settle all around me, like a halo of fur and cuteness. How many cats do you see???

Congratulations to all their new families. Woohoo! It means they achieved highest excellence in all the ragdoll characteristics. Ano difference nun? Yung premiors are neutered, that’s all :)

This award is so special to me that it deserves its own post.
WCF Philippines by SFEPI gave this award to the catteries who successfully joined their litters in the show. It was NOT a competitive award. But it’s probably my favorite today. Nakakatouch sya naiyak ako konti. It’s amazing when your club recognizes and understands the effort it takes to produce a beautiful litter of kittens. Hindi pwde chambahan mo lang yung isa or bumili ng isang champion level cat. You have to somehow produce a whole set of perfect little ones. Sabi nga ng judge, it’s about consistency and quality. Tho it may seem that way, it didn’t take just one pairing of cats then “Tada, ayan na ang perfect kittens!” It’s the culmination of years of careful effort, money, sweat and tears.

I have such high respect for the other catteries because i understand what it takes. Shoutout to the most lovable sphynx kittens Angels Sphynx Manila with Mehdi Moussaoui, the most adorable highland fold kittens Shadows Cattery with Joebelyn Senador - Luat, the amazing devon rex kittens with Irene Rose. The 8th International cat show just finished!
This is the most awards we’ve ever won- I think 27 (not all in the pic). One big reason is because we joined the litter category, and the kittens did so well.
We brought 5 kittens to the show- the most we’ve ever attempted. Ang sakit pala sa likod magshow-grooming ng ganun kadami! Or baka tumatanda na ako… We started bathing on Wednesday, then continued on Thursday and Friday. Tagaktak pawis ko at naubos din mga shampoo and conditioner from Chris Christensen Systems Philippines (still our favorite show quality groomstuff)

But it was so worth it! We won BEST IN SHOW LITTER on the first day. They also did well in the kitten rings and table judging. To be honest, it’s really terrifying for me when i join kittens that already have new families. There is that extra pressure for them to do well. All praises and thanks be to God! Our efforts to learn the breed and keep improving our cats paid off. I feel so blessed and proud of these babies. Today, we also added several more kittens to our roster of champions.

Going home tired but happy.

It was a tough battle. I love all these other kittens! Big congratulations to our graduate Haru Sky for winning Best of the Best Kitten.

To explain- When the host mentioned “the Big 4”, it means that these kittens have already won the Best in Show in the different categories- 1. Long hair 2. Short hair 3. Hairless 4. Semi-long hair. This is a massive accomplishment in itself already. Big love to all my fellow breeders. You know how it is, some days we win, some days we don’t. It’s all good though ❤️
