If you’ve ever wanted to keep an eel or an aquatic snake, the Kuhli Loach is a great and colorful alternative with their slender bodies and yellow, pink, or orange colored stripes.

Interestingly, the Kuhli Loach can also be a weather forecaster, with them being able to sense changes in atmposhperic pressure, often wriggling around rapidly more when they sense these changes.

These eel like fish originates in Indonesia and they prefer warm and sandy tanks as they are bottom dwelling fish.
They are nocturnal and timid in nature. Because of this, they like hiding themselves under or behind plants and wood which are reccomended to be in their tanks.
