We really need to educate pet lovers about rabbit breeds and their specific qualities, purpose and conformation. Most inquiries we are receiving now are surprise when we tell them about the cost of our purebreed rabbits. They expect the prices to be as cheap as the local mixbreeds that are being sold by vendors at the sidewalk or by bunnymillers. They do not know how much money the breeder have spent in purchasing, feeding and taking good care of their quality purebred rabbits. We need to have more rabbit shows or events that would make people appreciate the value of quality rabbit breeds or else the rabbit industry will crumble.
