“Remain in me, as I remain in you.” (John 15:4)

Today’s Gospel reminds us that our strength doesn’t come from how capable or hardworking we are

it comes from staying connected to God. Just like a branch cannot survive without the vine, we cannot truly grow, find peace, or bear good fruit without Him.

In daily life, it’s easy to rely only on our own plans, our work, our goals, our worries. But Jesus invites us to remain in Him, not just visit Him when we’re in trouble. Remaining means consistency: prayer even when we’re busy, faith even when things are unclear, trust even when life feels unfair.

Sometimes we feel lost, tired, or unproductive. This Gospel reminds us that maybe the problem is not effort but connection. When we reconnect with God, everything else slowly falls into place.

Reflection Questions:

* Am I staying connected to God daily, or only when I need something?
* What distractions are pulling me away from Him?
* How can I “remain” in Him today in a simple, real way?

Prayer:
Lord, help me stay connected to You today. In my work, my decisions, and my struggles, remind me that I am not alone. Teach me to trust You more than myself. Let my life bear good fruit through Your presence. Amen.
