How will this Noncturnal Animals, insects, reptiles will hunt and eat if Mt.Mayon is light up. This issue was already cancelled few years ago because it draws flk frim nitezens or objected by mist of Albayanos, Environmentalist & Bicolanos and some planners are testing the plan to bring the project back. Again, a Big No! Here's a breakdown of the arguments against lighting up Mt. Mayon:
Waste of Resources:
Proponents of the "no" side argue that the money spent on lighting up the volcano could be better used for other projects, such as improving infrastructure or addressing poverty.
Active Volcano:
Mount Mayon is an active volcano, and lighting it up could pose a safety hazard and damage the lighting infrastructure during eruptions.
Environmental Concerns:
Some people believe that lighting up the volcano would disrupt the natural beauty and ecosystem of the area.
Cultural Heritage:
Mount Mayon is a significant cultural landmark, and some people feel that it should be preserved in its natural state.
Prioritization of Needs:
There are concerns that the province of Albay, where Mount Mayon is located, has other pressing needs, such as improving electricity infrastructure and completing infrastructure projects, that should take precedence over lighting up the volcano.
Cancellation of Project:
