IVSA Philippines 💙 and in partnership with Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions Curma 🌊 invites you to join us for an Online Webinar open to all on January 7-8, 2025 titled ✨Ridge to Reef: Empowering Youth for Conservation through Pawikan Initiative 2025✨ and 🌊Ridge to Reef: Cultivating Community and Advocacy in Coastal Conservation🌊. Featuring our highly esteemed speakers from Coastal Underwater Resource Management Actions (CURMA): Carlos Tamayo (CURMA Executive Director), Toby Tamayo, Sukhadev Bismark, Patrick Andre Andrada, & Koushik “Venky” Subramanian. This webinar also welcomes inspirational speakers from the US Peace Corps: Lili Tucker & Lilly Thompson, and the staff of Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA). Last 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝐈𝐕𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐕𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧 came together for an exciting 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 via Google Meet! 🌏✨

From self-introductions to fun presentations about each other’s countries, veterinary schools, and iconic cultures, it was a day of learning and connection. We explored history, national symbols, food, language, and more, with a language game adding extra fun! 🎉 The session ended with meaningful discussions and a virtual group photo, strengthening our bond as global veterinary students. 💬🤝. We truly enjoyed each other's company and IVSA PH hopes to have another exchange soon, whether face-to-face or online! 🌟
