“Vaginal prolapse/hyperplasia”

•Vaginal hyperplasia and prolapse in dogs are primarily caused by estrogen stimulation during the heat cycle, genetic predisposition, and increased physical pressure.

*Hormonal Factors
•High Estrogen: Peak estrogen levels during proestrus and estrus cause normal vaginal tissue to swell, fill with fluid, and overgrow.

•Hormone Imbalance: Ovarian cysts or outside sources of estrogen can over-stimulate the vaginal walls.

*Breed and Genetics
•Young Intact Females: Most common in young dogs during their first few heat cycles.Susceptible Breeds: Boxers, Bulldogs, Mastiffs, and other large or flat-faced breeds face a higher risk.

Parvo Virus‼️

How puppies get parvo?

Parvo spreads through:
Contact with infected dog f***s
Contaminated surfaces (floors, grass, shoes, cages)
It’s extremely tough and can survive in the environment for months.

Symptoms usually appear 3–7 days after exposure and can worsen quickly:
-Lethargy (very tired, weak)
-Loss of appetite
-Vomiting
-Severe diarrhea (often bloody and foul-smelling)
-Fever or low body temperature
-Dehydration

A mammary tumor in dogs is a growth that develops in the breast tissue. These are actually one of the most common tumors in female dogs, especially those that are unspayed or spayed.

Mammary tumors can be:
Benign (non-cancerous) – slower growing, less dangerous.
Malignant (cancerous) – can spread, often to lungs or lymph nodes.

Treatment:
The main treatment is surgical removal of the tumor. Chemotherapy might be recommended for malignant tumors.

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious and potentially fatal viral disease that mainly affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. It attacks rapidly dividing cells in the body especially in the intestines and bone marrow.

Symptoms:

Signs usually appear 3–7 days after exposure:
- Severe, often bloody diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Fever or low body temperature
- Lethargy (weakness)
- Dehydration
- Rapid weight loss

In puppies, it can also affect the heart.

“Urethral obstruction” in cats is a life threatening emergency that prevents a cat from being able to pass urine. It most commonly affects male cats because their urethras are longer and narrower, making them more prone to blockages from plugs (mucus and crystals), bladder stones, or inflammation. Without immediate veterinary care, toxins build up in the blood, leading to kidney failure, heart rhythm disturbances, and potentially death within 24 to 72 hours.
