Stray Love Ph is an active animal rescue org that was put up primarily to save the lives of stray dogs and cats that are classified “emergencies” and languish in the streets of Metro Manila and the nearby provinces within the Calabarzon and Central Luzon Regions. The org also dedicates its time to rescuing and easing the plight of an
imals that are sick, maimed, neglected, abandoned and abused. Stray Love Ph has been instrumental in saving hundreds of dog and cat lives from being euthanized at the City Pounds of Zamboanga and Metro Manila! The org has also managed to rescue several illegally detained Macaques in Mandaluyong, Batangas and Clark with the help of the DENR rescue team! In the aftermath of the deadly Taal Volcano eruption last January, Stray Love Ph managed to rescue several horses who were about to be sold by their owners to horse meat traders when they realized that these animals who have provided them their main source of income for years, would no longer be of any use to them. Aside from the horses who are now enjoying their lives in the farms of their new owners, the Stray Love Ph Team also rescued several animals (dogs, cats, ducks, chickens & a monkey) in different parts of Batangas that were hard hit by the eruption. While most of these animals have been reunited with their owners, those that have been not been claimed are in the care of a private shelter whose needs are being financed by the organization thru the help of donors. To date, Stray Love Ph has come to the aid of animal emergency cases not only in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon, but also, in Zamboanga, Ilo-Ilo and Cebu. It is the aim of Stray Love Ph to evoke an awareness in people on the plight of the suffering voiceless! To encourage them not to turn a blind eye to dogs and cats they see wasting away in the streets. The Stray Love Ph Team dreams of spreading viral love and compassion campaigns so more people will want to donate to this worthwhile endeavor of saving the lives of these voiceless and oftentimes helpless creatures. Stray Love Ph has started promoting Spay and Neuter Campaigns to Barangays and LGUs, as well as campaigning against Animal Cruelty & Irresponsible Ownership!

🐾Luna’s Update🐾 It is very heart warming to see that Luna has been eating with gusto! We cook and brought her chicken. Initially, she has been on a recovey food diet and was being force fed. Apparently, she didn’t like the taste. But when we tried feeding her chicken, VIOLA look at her now! Dear friends, Luna is still at the clinic and our vet bills is pilling up. The rains have been unrelenting.
Our once beautiful shelter which has been hardhit by typhoons Paeng and Kristine last year has long been needing repairs however, eversince we lost our electricity, we have not been able to do the necessary fixing of our drainage systems, canals and roofing.
Our shelter grounds and kennel floors are always wet. The soil - muddy.
Our rescue dogs are cold and dirty. We appeal to you to please help us buy as many plastic pallets as possible. We have 250 dogs.
Bamboo beds (papag) are also an option.
We are also needing roll-up trapals/lonas for both our kennels and tents.
We worry constantly about our darling rescues - most especially now that the monsoon season has started. They do not ask for much. All they long for is for enough food to fill their tummies and, a dry place to sleep in. Just a little comfort in the midst of hardship.🙏🏻❤️

🐾 DOG FOOD APPEAL: OUR STOCKS ARE RUNNING OUT FAST 🐾
We are down to our last 2 sacks of dog food at the shelter. With so many rescued dogs under our care, this will not even be enough for one meal tomorrow.😥
This rainy season has been especially difficult. The roads leading to our shelter often get flooded, making it hard for deliveries or help to reach us. And as we continue to care for sick, injured, and elderly animals, our vet bills and daily shelter costs have reached astronomical levels — making it harder to keep up with even the most basic needs like food.
We’re reaching out with hopeful hearts, asking for your help.
💛 Please consider donating dog food and sawdust to our shelter. Every sack, every kilo, every peso goes a long way to keeping our dogs well fed, strong and healthy.

Be responsible owners and take your pets with you if you have to evacuate your homes.
And for those of us who may see a stray needing shelter from the punishing rains, let us provide them a space in our home. A decent meal and clean water is enough to make them feel their lives matter.
