The chopped banana stem is mixed with ½ kilo of darak for every 10 kilos of chopped banana stem and 1 tablespoon of molasses for every kilo of banana stem. The mixture is then sealed and allowed to ferment for 2–3 days.

After fermentation, it’s ready to be fed to the chickens as a practical way to utilize farm resources and reduce feed costs.
