It is through Jesus Christ that we have been qualified as children of God. When we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who did all of this so that we could be saved, we are accepting the new life He has given us. This is a life of redemption; a life as sons and daughters of God, whom we became separated from after the Fall of man. We have now come into a life of righteousness and holiness.
Prayer 🙏
Thank you, Lord, for setting me free from the sin power had over my life. I have chosen to leave my old, sinful self and I am fully focused on walking in the life of righteousness and holiness you have called me to live through your Son. Thank you, Father, that you are always there to reinforce my faith when anyone tries to tell me otherwise. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

The battles we face, as Christians, are not physical. Every form of opposition be it in man or in circumstances is spiritual. When we are faced by violent people, those people have subjected themselves to the influence of violent spirits. We cannot afford to not see everything as spiritual. But as much as we may have many spiritual enemies, we are not without defense. God has equipped us and He covers us to ensure that the enemy will never overthrow us, no matter what.

Dear God, every day the enemy tries to attack your children through other people, authorities and other influences. Father, in times where the fight may seem like too much, I ask that you help us push through. May we never forget that we already have the victory because we are in Christ. In Jesus' name, I pray. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
God is a jealous god. He does not want to us to give our affection to anything of the world. As the creator of the universe, He knows all things as He created all things. Therefore, he deserves all our praise. He knows what has passed and what is yet to come.

We are curious about the last days, even though we understand the timing is only known to God. In the meantime, it is crucial that we remain alert and focused. Procrastination is dangerous; we must act now and keep our hearts prepared for Christ's return. We do this by living our lives according to God's will and inviting others to know Him. We will not be anxious! Instead, we will remain hopeful, carrying joy in our hearts at the thought of meeting our Savior face to face.
