250 for a Pittie

Our trainer Jennie Panes has created a monthly donation project to help our rescue continue with our operations. For roughly $5 or Php 250 monthly you can help us maintain our rescue efforts for the 120 pitbulls left in our care. "We are currently looking for 600 committed donors who can spare Php250 per month.

Please email me at [email protected] when you have made your deposit so we can keep track of the donations and ensure they will be used for the pitties. If you are to choose PayPal, please do not forget to specify in the notes section that it's for the 250 For A Pittie program.

Personality types
Explorer
These hogs are always on the move. They like to sniff, see , lick lots fo different things. Favorite thing may be using thier owner as a play ground. To interact with this type its best to have either a play pen or hedgehog proofed room to explore. Sit in the room with them and let them come to you and explore until their hearts content
Cuddler
These hogs tend to be happiest sitting in a snuggle sac or under a blanket sleeping. They will be freindly however wont usually have a desire to run around or interact with you. To interact with this kind of hog, sit them on your lap in a snuggle sac or blanket and let them sleep. stroke their quills and just let them have a snooze with you.
Shy
These hogs are curious about you but might take a while to warm up to you and show you their personalities. To interact with them, give them a blanket or snuggle sac to hide in , talk to them quietly and move slowly, offer lots of treats to build trust , and most of all be patient with them ,
Huffy
These hogs tend to be unsure of people. Whether its because of little contact with people or being neglected in a different home, or just plain cranky, they need patience and understanding from thier owners. These guys might do better with many shorter periosd of interaction as opposed to one very long one. Try to give lots of treats to build trust, and dont put them back in the cage if they arer being especially huffy and cranky, This will just enforce the behavior.
