What to test:

1.) Nitrate: NO3 in concentrations greater than 50 mg/L is harmful to sensitive fish and additionally promotes algae growth. It will highly distress your fish and affect the growth of young fish.

2.) Nitrite: NO2 in concentrations greater than 1 mg/L and if present for extended periods is harmful to your fish and could over time lead to the loss of your fish.

3.) Chlorine: Chlorine may be present in tap water. It is harmful to fish, damaging their gills and skin, and must not be introduced to the aquarium.

4.) Total Hardness: GH Favorable hardness values are not too high or too low, between 25 to 150 mg/L.

5.) Total Alkalinity: 40-120 mg/L means OK.

6.) Carbonate: Ideal range of Carbonate is between 40-120 mg/L.

7.) pH: A pH value between 6.8 and 7.6 will be tolerated by most freshwater fish species. Ideal pH ranges are species-dependent.

Use and Read:
- Put the aquarium test strips into the water for 2 seconds and remove them.

Level Hold:
-Hold the strip horizontally for 60 seconds.

-Clear color chart, to check all parameters at one glance.

Precise Results:
- Compare with the color chart on the bottle to get an accurate value of the fish tank water.

NOTE:

- Do not touch or contaminate the test block on the test strip.
- After each test strip is removed, tighten the bottle cap.
- Read in natural light.
- Do not use wet hands to take the test strips out of the bottle.
- Testing in saltwater aquariums is not recommended and may affect test results.
- The shelf life of unopened test strips bottles is 2 years.
- It is 3-6 months after disassembly, and the storage environment should not be damp and not exposed to the sun.
