Christmas Greetings for Our Seafarers Onshore and Ashore

Dear Brethren of the Sea,

As we celebrate this joyful season, we want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt appreciation to each one of you—those who brave the oceans and those who steadfastly support from the shore. Your unwavering commitment, courage, and resilience continue to inspire us all.

The year 2024 may have started with stormy tides as we bid farewell to one of our Principals, leading some of our colleagues to seek new opportunities on neighboring shores. Yet, like seasoned sailors navigating through rough seas, we ended the year on a high note. We proudly welcomed six vessels into our fleet from our trusted Principals and embraced new members into our growing family. This quarter also brought joy as many of our colleagues returned home to share in this season’s warmth.

Let this season remind us of the strength in unity, the power of hope, and the boundless possibilities of the future. As we bid farewell to 2024, we carry forward the lessons it has imparted, the camaraderie it has strengthened, and the successes we have achieved together.

May this Christmas fill your hearts with peace, love, and joy, and may the New Year bring abundant blessings, smooth sailing, and greater achievements for all.

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) wishes to announce and congratulate the following passers of the Theoretical Examinations for Marine Deck and Engineer Officers conducted at the MARINA Central Office and MARINA Regional Office VII (Cebu) on 21 November 2024, Thursday.
