Patient Brandy was brought to the clinic because he was showing signs of inappetence, lethargy, anorexia, twitching of face and yellow discharge from nose. He was diagnosed as positive for distemper virus.

A 2 year old patient was brought to the clinic because she was showing signs of inappetence, lethargy and vomiting. She has only one vaccine which is the 5 in 1. She was diagnosed as positive for parvovirus. Her mom decided to have her confined at the clinic and let her veterinarian take care of her. She quickly regained her strength and was sent home after a few more days of treatment. Ate already finished her initial vaccinations now and is off to a long and healthy life with her pawrent.

Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that commonly causes Gatrointestinal disease in young, unvaccinated dogs.

Treatment: Symptomatic therapy, antibiotics and immune support.
