🐾 Welcome Back, Milo! ⚡

Meet Milo — one month ago, he checked into our Canine Distemper Rehabilitation Center like he accidentally queued for the hardest level of life.

He was diagnosed with Canine Distemper and Blood Parasitism and for a moment it looked like his storyline took a serious detour.

But Milo said, “Not today.” 💪

After 7 days of intensive care, he tested NEGATIVE for distemper — already giving us hope for a strong comeback arc.

And after 1 month of treatment, we’ve got even better news:
✔️ Blood parasite treament — successfully done
✔️ Energy — superrrrrrrrr 😆
✔️ Main character status — restored 😎

Now he’s back… but not as a patient.
He’s just here for his vaccination and deworming session — basically a VIP maintenance visit to keep his comeback era going strong 💉🐶

From critical case to clinic comeback king…
Milo really said: “I didn’t survive that just to skip my check-ups.” 🐾✨

🐶 Kimmy: Too Soft to Be Tough, Too Strong to Be Defeated 💛
💛

Meet Kimmy, a gentle Chow Chow who is definitely not your typical “masungit” girl—she came in with nothing but sweet, calm vibes… even while her body was quietly fighting a serious battle 😅

She was brought to the clinic with a chief complaint of anorexia, lethargic for 5 days and diarrhea. After a thorough examination, our veterinarian uncovered multiple concerns:
🦠 Blood Parasitism – infections like Babesia/Ehrlichia transmitted by ticks that destroy red blood cells, leading to weakness, anemia, and lethargy
🔥 Pyometra – a life-threatening uterine infection where pus builds up inside the uterus, requiring urgent surgical removal to save the patient
🧪 Plus liver problem and possible biliary obstruction, making her case even more critical

It was a serious situation—but thanks to her pawfamily’s quick decision, Kimmy underwent emergency surgery on the same day and was confined for 7 days of close monitoring and care.

Slowly but surely, she improved… and eventually went from critical to “ready to go home and be cute again” 🐾✨

Now Kimmy is back with her family, healthy and recovering well—proof that early action, proper treatment, and teamwork can save lives.

Shine Bright Like a Diamond… Except It’s in the Bladder 💎🚫

Meet Mani — the cat who decided to sparkle internally 😼

This handsome intact male cat was brought to our clinic with a chief complaint of anuria. On physical exam, our attending veterinarian noted a hard, distended bladder — a clear sign of urinary blockage.

Mani was catheterized and confined for 5 days. Diagnostics revealed struvite and calcium oxalate crystals (double the crystals, double the drama 🙃)

For several days, his urine turned bloody - a common but serious complication of urinary obstruction but with proper treatment and monitoring, Mani improved. After 5 days, he finally went home... peeing like nothing ever happened

Mani says: “I tried to shine bright like a diamond… 0/10 experience, do not recommend.” 😼💦

Where the sparkle comes from? Struvite and oxalate crystals form in cats when urine is too concentrated, acidic/alkaline, or when there's dietary imbalance. Hydration, urinary diets, and regular check-ups help keep the sparkle where it belongs - outside the bladder. ✨️

Stuck Where It Hurts Most 🤧😱

Meet Uhtred 🐶
This brave boy came in for an emergency check-up after his private part got trapped in a metal chain 😬

But wait… it wasn’t just a simple pinch.
Upon thorough examination, our veterinarian discovered that the os p***s (yes, the bone inside a dog’s p***s) was already involved. Not a minor case at all.

Surgery was performed to safely remove the metal chain — and for a moment, our vet turned into a certified carpenter 🔧✂️
Careful cutting, steady hands, and a lot of precision later… Uhtred was finally freed and on his way to recovery. 💪🐾

💡 Reminders to pet owners:
• Avoid using chains that can accidentally loop around sensitive areas
• Always check your pet’s environment for hazards
• Swelling, bleeding, or difficulty urinating = EMERGENCY 🚨
• When in doubt, don’t wait — early intervention saves tissue (and bones!)

Meet Klea 💕 — a supermom who recently gave birth and was busy feeding her little ones. But suddenly… 😰
⚡ Muscle tremors and twitching

Not your typical “pagod lang” moment, right?

After a thorough check, our vet diagnosed her with hypocalcemia (low calcium) — a condition commonly seen in lactating dogs because milk production drains calcium fast. 🍼➡️⚠️
