🦜☀️ Stay Cool & Hydrated! Summer is Coming! 🌊💦

Hey there, Macaw Flyers Pilipinas family and friends! 👋 We hope you and your beautiful, feathered companions are flying high!
As the Philippines is about to feel the heat, it's a critical time to remember how our tropical weather affects our parrots. To keep them safe, happy, and ready for flight, we have two key summer reminders:
1️⃣ Regular Baths are a Must! 🛁
Our birds LOVE to be misted or bathed. It helps them cool down, keeps their feathers healthy, and encourages preening. Make it a fun daily ritual!
2️⃣ Fresh, Clean Water Always! 💧
The heat increases dehydration risks. Check their water bowls multiple times a day. Ensure they have constant access to cool, clean water for drinking and an occasional splash. If the bowl is slimy, it’s not clean!
Summer is for spectacular flights, but only if our flock is healthy and hydrated. Let’s make sure they are comfortable through the hottest months.

Throwback to May 22, 2022, at the Pet Summit in Ayala Malls by the Bay, when Bird Trainer Pong Falcon and Dwaynee, the friendly Blue and Gold Macaw, enjoyed meeting people and posing for photos with the crowd.
