Pet Groomer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Bathe, dry, brush, and style pets according to breed standards or owner preferences.
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform basic hygiene procedures.
- Safely handle dogs and cats during grooming.
- Identify skin problems, parasites, wounds, or abnormalities and report them to the veterinarian.
- Maintain grooming equipment in clean and working condition.
- Ensure pets are handled with patience and minimal stress.
- Keep the grooming area clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Recommend grooming schedules and home care products to pet owners.
- Maintain accurate grooming records and client preferences.
- Follow clinic safety and animal welfare protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous grooming experience preferred.
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles is an advantage.
- Gentle handling skills and patience with animals.
-Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
Pet Groomer Reliever
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cover and assist with grooming duties when the regular groomer is on leave, day off, or unavailable.
- Keep the grooming area clean, sanitized, and organized before, during, and after grooming.
- Ensure proper handling and monitoring of pets to minimize stress and prevent injury.
- Maintain proper grooming records and note any concerns observed during grooming.
- Follow clinic safety, sanitation, biosecurity, and animal welfare protocols.
- Assist the regular groomer with grooming-related tasks when needed.
- Be flexible with work schedules and willing to report when reliever coverage is required.
Qualifications:
- Previous pet grooming experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic grooming techniques for dogs and cats.
- Experience with different breeds and coat types is an advantage.
- Gentle, patient, and confident in handling animals.
- Physically capable of performing grooming duties.

- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to follow clinic policies and grooming standards.
