Tartar forms a rough surface serving as a place for bacteria to grow and multiply in the mouth. Bacteria can cause inflammation of the gums or gingivitis which often results in painful bleeding, inflammation and tooth loss.

The bacteria on the tartar can be absorbed into the blood stream and deposited in various organs, including the heart and the kidneys, causing infection.

🏥👨🏽‍⚕️Emergency Case for tonight: Accidental ingestion of 🍖 that caused mouth injury in 🐶’s mouth.

🐶🐕can break off sharp shards that can pierce the tongue, the cheek, or the soft palate on the roof off the mouth. Likewise, 🦴can get stuck around the lower jaw behind the lower canine teeth that can cause trauma and severe mouth infection. This is certainly a very scary experience for the dog. Fortunately, this 🐶 does not need to be sedated or anaesthetized in order to cut it off.
