We are reminded to stop judging, so that we might not be judged. Mother Teresa of Calcutta has said this, "If you are too quick to judge, you have no time to love." But you can point out to your brother or sister what is wrong without being prejudiced or being biased.

Sabihin mo, "May muta ako?"

Stop being judgmental. Judgmental means you look at things according to your world. May kanya-kanya tayong pinagdadaanan. Nagiging hipokrito tayo. We become hypocritical. Trying to pretend that we are always right, always correct, always true, name it.

I always say this.

Sabi nga ni San Agustin, "All saints have their past, so all sinners have their future."

And what is the sin in the first reading that most of us have taken for granted? That is the sin of ingratitude. Why ingratitude? Despite the things that God has done for His people, redeeming them from the land of slavery, and where they are at this point, they have chosen other gods aside from the true God who saved them, and they started to do evil. Ingratitude is not just doing what is wrong; it creates pain for the people who invested their love in you. Ang kawalan ng utang na loob. Ang utang na loob ay hindi nababayaran. Ang utang na loob ay tinatanaw. Hindi mo nakakalimutan.

Gratitude is not just remembering what people have done for you. It is the memory of the heart. And I always say this, the secret of a happy life is a grateful spirit. Not all happy people are grateful people, but all grateful people are happy people. And you have to accept that we are miserable because we fail to be grateful. And how would you feel that you are giving yourself, and yet people are ungrateful?

What is the challenge? Number one, don't do things because you will be appreciated. Do good things because it is who you are. Madalas ko rin po itong sinasabi. When people are good to you, be good to them. But when people are bad to you, be good to them because it is who you are. If you repay evil with evil, it makes us all evil. Be good, even though you will not be appreciated, because it is who you are.

Second, let it be. Your life is striving to do good. Because appreciation that is not really given is nothing. Allow people to be grateful from their hearts. Meron man itong pasasalamat o wala.

Going back to what I've said. Number one, don't judge because if you are too quick to judge, you have no time to love. Second, if people are good to you, be good to them. But if people are bad to you, be good to them because it is who you are. Because if you repay evil with evil, it will make us all evil. And third, do not forget this. The secret of a happy life is a grateful spirit. Not all happy people are grateful people, but all grateful people are happy people.

A Catholic bishop said love that excludes a spouse’s family is “hypocrisy,” urging married couples to extend affection beyond personal preference and embrace the broader relationships that come with marriage.

Happy Father’s Day, Papa! ❤️

I’ve seen how hard you’ve worked for our family. ❤️ I’ve seen the sleepless nights, the tears you never showed, the things you wanted for yourself but chose not to buy, the long walks, and the countless hours spent commuting just to provide for us. Your sacrifices have never gone unnoticed, and I want you to know how deeply grateful I am for everything you’ve done. We are truly blessed to have you as our Papa. Wala kang katulad. ❤️🥰 No person and no material thing can ever compare to all the love, sacrifices, and hard work that you and Mama have given us. Thank you for always putting our family first. ❤️

We love you so much, Papa. I promise to love you and Mama forever. ❤️

Love,

Claire
