Why Kilid Balay ni Lolo Bentod?

This page and our gamefowl breeding is dedicated and in memory of our Grandfather, Antonio Sr.

Lolo Bentod was an avid sabong enthusiast, with the old Cadiz City Cockpit his favorite place every weekend. He was my number one supporter and was a proud Lolo especially when our rooster wins. One Sunday afternoon in 2008 after winning our 2nd fight, a stranger asked him, “ Lo mga apo mo na gali pirme na di gadaog ila manok” . Lolo was all smile, i still remember that look in his face.

Come Sept 2011, Lolo was terminally ill but still wanted to go to New Negros Coliseum to watch our stags fought for the first time in this prestigious GFBAN 9 Stag Derby. We ended up with a 7w-2l score, not bad for a backyard breeder against tough Bacolod Breeders. Again, Lolo was very happy and proud. Sadly, on Dec 2011 Lolo passed away.

I missed Lolo so dearly, and with this page brings a lot of memories of him.
