Join our team at Highland Vets Animal Clinic and help us provide the best care for our furry patients! 🐾

Responsibilities include:
-Cleaning and disinfecting cages, kennels, and clinic areas
-Feeding and providing water to confined animals
-Assisting in handling and restraining pets when needed
-Administering basic care as instructed by the veterinarian
-Monitoring and reporting any changes in a patient’s condition
-Ensuring pets are comfortable, clean, and stress-free
-Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic.

✅ Qualifications:
-Must be responsible, hardworking, and compassionate toward animals
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Willing to work weekends/holidays if needed
-Experience in animal care is a plus (but not required)
-Team player with good communication skills

Heat Stroke Warning for Dogs! 🐶🌡️

The heat is on, and our furry friends are at risk! Watch out for these signs of heat stroke in dogs:

⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling more than usual
⚠️ Lethargy or weakness
⚠️ Vomiting or diarrhea
⚠️ Bright red or pale gums
⚠️ Difficulty breathing
⚠️ Collapse or seizures

🚨 Heat stroke is an emergency! If you notice any of these signs:
✅ Move your pet to a cool, shaded area
✅ Offer small amounts of water
✅ Apply cool (not ice-cold) water to their body
✅ Bring them to the vet immediately

☀️ Prevention is key:
✔️ Provide fresh water at all times
✔️ Avoid walks during peak heat hours
✔️ Never leave pets inside parked cars
✔️ Keep them in cool, well-ventilated areas
