They cannot tell us where it hurts. They cannot ask why they were abandoned. They cannot understand why the person they trusted chose to leave them behind.

All they can do is survive.

So when you see a homeless animal today, remember that behind those tired eyes is a life that has already known more suffering than it deserved.

Be the human who makes that life a little gentler, not a little harder. 🤍
