Please be guided by the following reminders:

✅ Claiming of Race Bib/Shirt: 5:00 AM sharp — Please be on time.
✅ Run Proper: Starts exactly at 6:00 AM.
✅ Make sure your pet is on leash (nakahigot/nakahikot) at all times.
✅ For those joining the Dog Food Eating Contest, please bring your own bowl.
✅ Kindly bring your own bags for your pet’s p**p. Let’s keep the area clean!

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

Please be guided with your assigned schedules for the upcoming Mass Castration (Kapon) Activity to be held at Barangay Sumpong Covered Court.

✔️ Kindly follow your respective schedule.
✔️ We will only cater clients who are included in our official list and who arrive at their assigned time.

🚫 No walk-ins will be entertained.
🚫 No female dogs/cats will be catered (Male dogs and cats only).

📌 For those scheduled from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, we will follow the posting of the final list after 2:00 PM.

📝 Registration is still available until 2:00 PM today at the office.

📋 To follow before surgery:

1️⃣ Fast your animal for 8–10 hours prior to surgery (no food).
2️⃣ Make sure your pet is healthy and not showing signs of illness.
3️⃣ If possible, bathe your pet a day before the surgery.
4️⃣ Ensure that you are able to properly care for your pet after surgery (post-operative care).

The City Veterinary Office of Malaybalay is pleased to inform the public that 50 MALE DOG/CAT are still available for our upcoming Mass Castration Activity in line with the Rabies Awareness Month Celebration.

📍 Venue: Brgy. Sumpong Covered Court
📅 Activity Date: March 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:30 AM

Pet owners who wish to avail of the remaining slots are advised to personally visit the Malaybalay City Veterinary Office on March 16, 2026 (Monday) for registration.

✅ This is open to all barangays of Malaybalay City.

Slots are limited and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

In line with the Rabies Awareness Month Celebration – Mass Castration Activity, please be informed that due to unexpected events, the venue has been changed to:

📍 Barangay Sumpong Covered Court
📅 March 19, 2026

For registration concerns, please coordinate with your respective Barangay Focal Personnel.

⚠️ Strictly NO WALK-INS will be accommodated. We will be posting schedule online. Kindly follow your assigned barangay schedule and time.

🐾 TO DO PRIOR TO SURGERY:
1. Do not give food at least 8–10 hours prior to surgery.

2. Ensure your pet is healthy and fit for surgery.

3. If possible, bathe your dog one day prior to surgery.

4. Be prepared to properly care for your pet after surgery.

Maayong adlaw sa tanan nga mga tag-iya og iro ug iring sa Malaybalay Poblacion Area!

Alayon sa kasaulogan sa Rabies Awareness Month sa bulan sa Marso, adunay ipahigayon nga Mass Castration o pagpang kapon alang sa mga iro ug iring karon umaabot Marso 19, 2026, sa Barangay 2 Covered Court.

Kini nga kalihokan gihimo aron mapalambo ang responsableng pag-atiman sa atong mga binuhi, maminusan ang gidaghanon sa mga stray animals, ug alang sa pagpatuman sa Malaybalay City Ordinance No. 668.

Adunay 150 ka lalaking iro ug 50 ka lalaking iring ang pagadawaton alang sa maong kalihukan ug walay walk-in clients.

Alang sa pagpa rehistro, palihog pakig-coordinate sa inyong Barangay Veterinary Focal Person.

Ug alang sa mga pangutana, mamahimo kamo makigkita sa mga kawani sa City Veterinary Office sa Purok 8, Barangay 9, ning dakbayan o puede kamo motawag sa 0926 198 6992

1. Updated proof of anti-rabies vaccination
(Must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to the event)

3. Maximum of 2 dogs per household
