🌿🤝 Honoring Our Heritage, Building a Sustainable Future Together
On July 31, 2026, the Bukidnon Tagoloanon Tribe, the Bukidnon Tagoloanon Mulahay Ha Kabukalagan Agriculture Cooperative (BUKTAMACO), Camp J Homes, together with the Malaybalay City Tourism Office, formally entered into a Joint Venture Agreement at Camp J Homes, Tigbawan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The gathering began with a traditional indigenous ritual led by the elders of the Bukidnon Tagoloanon Tribe, invoking blessings, wisdom, unity, and guidance for the partnership. More than a ceremonial tradition, the ritual served as a powerful reminder of the tribe's deep spiritual connection to the land, their ancestors, and their enduring commitment to protecting their culture and natural heritage. It also symbolized the collective hope that this partnership will flourish with respect, harmony, and shared responsibility.
The signing of the Joint Venture Agreement represents a shared vision of developing sustainable eco-tourism that not only showcases the breathtaking landscapes of Bukidnon but also preserves and celebrates the rich traditions, customs, stories, and identity of the Bukidnon Tagoloanon Tribe. Through this collaboration, the partners are committed to creating meaningful livelihood opportunities for local communities, promoting responsible tourism, protecting the environment, and ensuring that future generations continue to appreciate and value the cultural treasures entrusted to us today.
With the support of the Malaybalay City Tourism Office, this partnership strengthens the collective effort to position Malaybalay City as a destination where visitors can experience authentic indigenous culture, breathtaking natural attractions, and community-based tourism that respects both people and the environment.
This Joint Venture Agreement is more than a formal signing—it is a promise to work hand in hand in preserving our heritage, empowering our communities, and fostering sustainable development through unity, mutual respect, and shared purpose.
Together, we move forward with one vision: to protect our cultural identity, preserve our natural resources, and build a thriving eco-tourism destination that benefits present and future generations.
