Holiday season = more chewable hazards. Keep your pets safe from foreign body obstruction! 🐶🎄
𝟔 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝟏 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄! 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐠 🐶🩺
The holiday season is officially here — and with it comes an explosion of toys, decorations, wrappers, and all sorts of tiny, chewable hazards. 🎄🎁
𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐲𝐬, 𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and even 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 can be irresistible to curious pets. Unfortunately, even a small piece accidentally swallowed can lead to a 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, oftentimes requiring 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲. 🚨
Keep a close eye on your furbabies, especially the 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 “𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠” 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞.Prevention will always be safer, easier, and kinder than treatment/surgery. 🐾❤️
If you notice vomiting, loss of appetite, straining, abdominal pain, or sudden lethargy — contact your veterinarian immediately.
✨Stay safe this holiday season!✨
