Meet Margot 🐶

Margot, a sweet female dog, was brought to us after showing worrying signs—lethargy, high fever, loss of appetite, and respiratory problems. After thorough examination and testing, she was confirmed positive for Canine Distemper Virus (CDV).

Distemper is a highly contagious and serious viral disease that can affect the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems of dogs. Early signs include fever, lethargy, and decreased appetite—progressing to respiratory or even neurological symptoms if left untreated.

To support Margot in her fight, we started her on:
Antibiotics to prevent secondary infections
Bronchodilators & Oxygen therapy to ease breathing
Immune boosters to strengthen her defenses
Anti-anemic drugs to help her blood health
Vitamins & electrolytes to restore strength and hydration

Margot is now under close monitoring and care. This case highlights the importance of vaccination, as it remains the best protection against canine distemper.

Heat Stroke Case: Brave Husky

Late last night, an adult Husky was rushed to our clinic with a dangerously high body temperature of 42°C — a clear case of heat stroke. The patient was weak, overheated, and in critical condition.

Immediate treatment was given, including IV fluids and medications, to help lower the body temperature, rehydrate, and stabilize vital signs. After a few hours of intensive care, our strong Husky patient thankfully made a good recovery.

⚠️ Heat stroke in dogs is life-threatening and can happen quickly, especially in breeds like Huskies who are more sensitive to hot weather.

✅ Always provide plenty of water
✅ Avoid exercise during hot hours
✅ Keep pets in cool, shaded, or air-conditioned spaces

We’re so proud of this Husky’s strength and happy to see recovery after such a scary night!

Meet Ruru 🐱🐾

Ruru is a brave 4-year-old cat who came to us with re**al prolapse and a urinary tract infection (UTI). Upon examination and X-ray, we discovered that her intestines were impacted with stool, which contributed to her condition.

To help Ruru, our veterinary team performed a surgical procedure to correct the prolapse. He was also given the proper medications, antibiotics, and laxatives to aid in recovery, relieve discomfort, and prevent further complications.

Ruru is now on his way to healing and we’re closely monitoring her progress 💕. With proper care and treatment, he’ll soon be feeling much better and return to her happy, playful self.

Let’s all wish Ruru a smooth recovery! 🐱✨
