“Aso-sasyon” — A Pack’s Journey to Wellness 🐾

Earlier this year, this amazing pack we fondly call “Aso-sasyon” faced a tough challenge — an outbreak of blood parasitism caused by ticks. One by one, they had to undergo close monitoring, blood tests, and weeks of medication.

It wasn’t easy, but together with their loving fur parents and our team at Mitsuha Veterinary Clinic, we made sure they received the care they needed. ❤️

Today, they’re all healthy, happy, and officially done with their wellness program! Their vaccinations, tests, and preventive treatments are complete — and yes, all of them are now spayed and neutered (except the two little pups who are next in line 🤣).

Seeing them full of energy, tails wagging, and free from illness is truly heartwarming. Thank you for trusting us in this journey and for choosing to fight for their health.

Here’s to more happy, healthy years ahead for Aso-sasyon! 🐶💚

🚨 Rising Cases of Toad Poisoning in Pets 🚨

In just one week, our clinic has managed 3 emergency cases of suspected toad poisoning.

This condition is life-threatening, and we want all pet parents to stay extra watchful—especially for pets who roam outdoors.

🐸 Why it’s dangerous:
Toads release toxins from their skin that can harm your pet’s heart and nervous system in just minutes.

⚠️ Watch out for these warning signs:
-Excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth
-Pawing at the mouth or face
-Red or irritated gums
-Vomiting
-Loss of coordination / difficulty walking
-Muscle tremors or seizures
-Collapse

💡 What you should do right away:
1️⃣ Rinse your pet’s mouth with running water (keep the head facing down to avoid swallowing).
2️⃣ Wipe the gums and tongue with a clean, damp cloth.
3️⃣ Rush to the nearest vet clinic immediately. Do not wait for the signs to worsen.

Elle’s journey with blood parasitism wasn’t easy — she battled severe anemia and low platelets, but with treatment, EPO therapy, and lots of love, she made it through. 💉❤️

From every-other-day checkups to just once a month follow-ups, look at Elle now — back on her feet and almost fully recovered! 🐕

🐾✨ Chimney is such a brave fur baby! ✨🐾

Chimney came to us with chronic vomiting caused by gastroenteritis. It was tough, but with lots of care, fluids, and treatment, this little fighter is now feeling so much better! 💖🐶

Gastroenteritis may sound scary, but the good news is — with the right help, pets can bounce back quickly. If you notice your furbaby vomiting too often, looking weak, or refusing food, don’t wait too long to bring them in.

Early check-ups = faster recovery. 🩺✨

🌪🐾 TYPHOON PREPAREDNESS FOR PETS 🐾🌪

Our fur babies are family, and they depend on us for safety. As we prepare for the typhoon, here are reminders to keep your pets safe:

✅ Collars and Records – Keep collars/tags on and secure important vet records in a waterproof folder.
✅ Emergency Pet Kit – Food, clean water, medicines, first-aid kit, leashes, carriers, and litter.
✅ Safe Space – Bring pets indoors; NEVER leave them tied outside.
✅ Comfort Items – Blankets, toys, or anything familiar to keep them calm.
✅ Transport Ready – Have carriers/crates ready in case evacuation is needed.

🐶🐱 Remember: If it’s not safe for you, it’s not safe for them.
