Happy Earth Day, everyone!
As it says in the Bible, “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and He took the man, put him in the garden to work it and keep it.”
May we all be grateful of this gift from God and may we all be good stewards of His creation. Let’s start in being responsible pet owners, being kind to strays, saying no to illegal trade of exotic animals and being mindful of our wastes, just few things we can do for our planet…and pray for WORLD PEACE!🌏

Puppy Booster shots: DONE! Woohoo!
This happy pup just finished her vaccine series, and she’s all smiles knowing the last one was an easy oral dose, a Bordetella vaccine 🐶

Moments like this always make us pause and think about all the puppies we’ve met through the years… now grown into adults and even seniors. We’re so grateful to have been part of their journey, from tiny paws to loyal, loving companions. 💛

Here’s to many more healthy, happy lives ahead! 🐾

Warning: don’t watch during meal time, a bit nasty
Our patient is in for a surgery called exploratory laparoscopy and gastrostomy or enterotomy due to suspected foreign body. We initially did barium radiograph exam, but then the barium got delayed in his stomach and it made a silhouette of an oval object. True enough, during surgery we found there was a foreign body stuck around his duodenum, a part of small intestine.
Any guess on what he could have eaten? Clue: it’s in season now.
The story does not end there, though.
We thought that with our age in companion animal practice nothing would surprise us, but oh boy we’re wrong, it was a literal jump scare moment, seeing a live worm in situ! Hahaha, it might be one of the most expensive deworming we have ever done.
Happy to report, our dear patient is now home with his family, playful and still with big appetite! ☺️ Let’s pray for his full recovery.
P.S. He was given deworming tablets.
P.P.S. DEWORM YOUR PETS REGULARLY!! Consult your attending veterinarian for safe and effective regular anti-external and internal parasitic!!

In support of the Nationwide Simultaneous Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive for Animals led by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Philippine Animal Health Association (PAHA), and Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), and in coordination with the Office of the City Veterinarian of Las Piñas, we invite everyone to bring their pets for FREE Rabies Vaccination.

📅 Wednesday, March 11, 2026
⏰ 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Open to dogs and cats 3 months old and above that are active, healthy, and without a recent anti-rabies vaccination.
Vaccination will be first come, first served until supplies last.

I know Pillow, it’s great seeing you and Kobe too! 💜 belated happy birthday din, wow, you’re already 10 years old, guys, good job!
In spite of the sadness of losing our own pets, as doctors, we owe it to our patients to be present, to be there for them, so that they too can have a full and HAPPY life!
…and as the boy’s song goes, life goes on 💜🐾🐶😺

You’re more than just a pet or a buddy, you’re our darling girl, Madi’s ate/keeper, Khali’s wife, Bunso/Wii/Petite/Pogi/Linggit’s Mom, Jumbo’s lola, Tuesday/Yoongi’s surrogate mom, Zena/Butter/Grammy’s favorite frenemy.
Say hello to Uno, Ruru, Blue, Grammy, Mommylola, Tintan, and Emma. 🤍
Would also like to thank all the groomers, vet-friends/doctors, our clients and vet staff who cared for her, especially to and for treating her like she’s one of your own; and to Papa Mama and for the taking care and loving her like she’s the firstborn granddaughter.
Happy, we are sorry we couldn’t revive you anymore. We hope we have given you a good life, one that you deserve. Until the very last moment, as we are saying our goodbye, I was still questioning myself and David what else can we give you. Knowing daddy, I already knew what his answer would be —it was to let you rest.
