A Savior For You

Matt 1:21
21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.
NKJV

Are you a happy person? Fear and the guilt of sin can take away your happiness. You may wonder, “How can I be happy?”

I have good news for you! There is someone who can help you. He can forgive your sins and give you lasting happiness. His name is Jesus. Let me tell you about Him.

His Father, God, is the One who made the world. He made everything in the world. He made you and me.

God loves us. He loves everyone in the world. God loves us so much that He sent Jesus, his only Son, to this world. When Jesus was on this earth, He healed the sick and comforted the sad. He opened blinded eyes. He taught the people many things.

Jesus wanted us to understand the great love that his Father has for you and me. He told this story that explained the love of his Father. You can read this in the Bible in St. Luke 15:11-24.

A certain man had two sons. He thought all was going well. One day one of the sons rebelled and came to him and said, “I don’t like this home, I want my own way, and I am leaving. Give me my share of the inheritance.” The father was very sad, but he gave him the money and let him go. He wondered if he would ever see his son again.

The son went far away and enjoyed himself with his money and his friends. He carelessly wasted his money in selfish living. He thought he was having a very good time until suddenly his money ran out and his friends left him. He was all alone and needy. Now what should he do?

He went to a farmer and the farmer sent him to feed the pigs. He was not given enough to eat. He was so hungry he would have eaten the pigs’ food. He started to think of all the bad things he had done and how he had mistreated his father. He became more and more miserable.

One day he remembered how loving his father had been and how well he had been provided for when he was still at home. Even his father’s servants had plenty to eat.

He thought, “Could I go back to my father after all I have done to him? Will he still love me? I am not worthy to be his son. I am willing to be just a servant if only he will take me in.”

Immediately he got to his feet and started for his father’s house. He would see if his father would forgive him.

The father had been longing for his son ever since he left. He often wondered, “Will he ever come back?” Then one day he saw someone coming in the distance. Could that be his son? When he saw that it was, he ran to him with outstretched arms.

“Father,” the son said, “I have sinned against you. I’m not worthy to be your son.”

But his father said, “Bring the best clothes for him and prepare a feast. My son was lost but now he is found.”

We are all like this son; we have all strayed from God, our Father. We have wasted the opportunities and many good things He has given us. We have lived selfishly and rebelled against Him. Today our heavenly Father invites us to come to Jesus. He is waiting for us with outstretched arms.

Jesus showed us his love by giving his life as a sacrifice for our sins and the sins of the whole world. He suffered pain and rejection as He allowed wicked men to nail Him to a cross. By the power of God He rose from the dead and lives forever.

Come to Jesus and ask Him to forgive your sin. When He sees you are sorry for the wrongs you have done, He will forgive you and wash away all your sin with his blood that He shed. It will be a wonderful experience! You will become a new person. Life will take on new meaning. Jesus will replace your guilt and fear with joy and happiness. He will be your Savior.

Acceptance Prayer:
Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen

HOW LONG, O LORD MUST I CALL FOR HELP? BUT YOU DO NOT LISTEN?..

This was Habakkuk's question when he saw oppression during his time.

Sometimes the appropriate response to God's seeming silence is SILENCE.
We easily overlook our own spiritual poverty. Silence allows us to recognize our sinfulness in the presence of the Holy God.

In this world full of troubles, trust God's silence. We do not know all His ways, but we know that He is good. Nothing is beyond His control and timing. So, whenever we feel He is silent....trust His heart. ❤️❤️

God Is The Source of Every Good Thing In Your Life.

The only place in Scripture God invited you to prove His existence was through The Tithe. The Tithe is 10 percent of what He has provided for you. It is not the repayment of a debt to Him, because you owe God everything. The Tithe is simply the acknowledgment of your debt.

Tithing Has An Immediate Reward. It unleashes a force, a current of Expectation that nothing else births. Tithing plants the seed of Expectation in your mind.

• Tithing Silences Satan's accusations against you.

• Tithing Authorizes God to confront your adversaries for you.

• Tithing is the Golden Bridge over the chasm to your future.

God Is In Constant Pursuit of Relationships..

The Bible is a relationship manual. The Scriptures are full of people that did not know how to get along with God. Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, and let us reason together,… though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” God wants to be a part of the healing and the restoration of our life. God Had A Son But He Wanted A Family; He Sowed His Son To Create His Family.

The purpose of any relationship is completion...addition. Somebody has something you are missing.
Gen 2:18-19
18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 7:21

"The One Who Does the Will of My Father"

Many people think it is enough to attend church and profess Christ as their savior, and God will give them eternal life, even though their ongoing lifestyle reflects that of an unrepentant sinner. Jesus was clear that there would be those who would call him Lord, and even do good deeds in his name, who are not his sheep (Matt. 7:22-23).

If you are actively pursuing a lifestyle that you know in your heart is against God’s commands, having a nonchalant attitude toward your sin, you need to examine yourself as Paul exhorts us to do in 2 Corinthians 13:5 and Peter does as well in 2 Peter 1:10-11:

Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! (2 Cor. 13:5)

Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Pet. 1:10-11)

God calls us to repent, take the Christian faith seriously, and cling to Christ, for “there is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12).

Even though believers will fight against sin throughout this life, a repentant heart and earnest desire to honor the Lord in all things is a great assurance to them that they are indeed God’s children. The Christian life is a fruit-bearing life; walk in the light of God’s mercies in Christ today.

A Signal of a New Beginning
Every ending signals a beginning, and a new beginning brings a former matter to a close.

The diploma signifies a farewell to academia and ushers in a new reality of full-time employment. A wedding marks the end of singlehood and opens up a future of mutual, loving submission.

When we place our trust in Jesus, an ending occurs. Our old man – with his sinful attitudes and actions – passes away. We are mysteriously made a brand-new creation as we embark on this faith adventure full of hope and promise (II Corinthians 5:17).

If we pay attention, though, we see that every one of these situations involves the process. A graduation, a marriage ceremony, and a salvation experience are captured in one moment in time, but living out these new beginnings is a journey. And like every journey, it carries its disappointments and delights, triumphs and tragedies, healing and heartaches.

If the new beginning looks different than you expected, be encouraged. Don’t be so focused on the somewhere-out-there that you lose sight of the here-and-now blessings. When we invite Jesus into every moment, He becomes a Friend Who walks through the fire beside us, Who heals our hurts, Who shares our joys, and Who teaches us the lessons that lead to life everlasting.

May you walk every moment in the presence of Jesus to know the riches of His glory and the hope that never disappoints.

Matthew 5:4
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Called to Intercession

Do you know what Jesus was really talking about when He said those words? He was talking about the mourning of the intercessor. He was teaching about the comfort that comes to the intercessor when he is assured by the Holy Spirit that he has prayed through.

To pray through means "to break through the barriers that have stopped the work of God in the lives of others." It means using your spiritual armor to push back the forces of darkness that surround them.

There's a desperate need for believers who are willing to do that today. There's a need for intercessors who will go before God and reach out for His mercy and compassion for the sinner, for the sick and for this downcast world. For prayer warriors who will stick with it until they have the assurance inside, in their spirits, that every barrier is broken and every area of bo***ge has been abolished.

God is looking for intercessors like that—and there are certain things that won't happen on this earth until He finds them. There are blessings and moves of God that won't come until someone gives birth to those things by prayer.

Even the Lord Jesus Himself was ushered into the earth by intercession. Remember Simeon and Anna? They were both intercessors, prayer warriors of God. They'd spent years in spiritual mourning, praying for the Messiah to come. But when they were done, they experienced the comfort of the Holy Spirit. For when they saw Jesus as a tiny baby in the temple, they recognized Him and rejoiced.

If you're wondering if you're one of those who's been called to intercession, then you probably are. God is calling believers everywhere to experience that unique kind of mourning and comfort that only the intercessor knows. He's calling you to lay down your life for others through prayer.

Somewhere in the world, someone needs you to pray them through. Spend some time on your knees today.

Ephesians 6:12-13 KJV
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

What are powers and principalities? These are spiritual powers in the heavens.

The Word of God says this: all you need to do is ask in Jesus’ name and have faith the size of a mustard seed to watch the mountains of impossibility move in your life. If you don’t think this will work, I challenge you to give God a chance. Our God is an on-time God, and He is faithful to the last jot and tittle.

Put on the whole armor of God and plan to defeat any enemy. There has never been a servant of God in the history of the world who was disappointed at calling upon the Lord in his or her hour of need. You will not be the first.

Have you prayed once and nothing happened? Pray again! Pray until your hunger is satisfied, until your need is met. Fight to win! Don’t give up until God gives you His answer.
