🍫🐶 Chocolate may be a treat for us, but it can be dangerous for our dogs.

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which dogs process differently from humans. Depending on the type and amount eaten, it can cause vomiting, restlessness, abnormal heart rhythms, tremors, seizures, and other serious problems.

⚠️ If your dog accidentally eats chocolate, contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. Don't wait for symptoms to appear.

Some foods that are perfectly normal for us can be harmful or even toxic to our furry friends.

Keep chocolate, onions & garlic, grapes & raisins, caffeine, macadamia nuts, and avocados away from your pets.

⚠️ If your dog accidentally eats something potentially toxic, don't wait for symptoms. Contact your veterinarian as soon as possible, and don't induce vomiting unless instructed by a veterinarian.

🍫 Chocolate contains substances that can be toxic to dogs and may affect the heart and nervous system.

🧅 Onions & Garlic can damage red blood cells and may lead to anemia.

🍇 Grapes & Raisins can cause serious kidney problems in some dogs.

☕ Caffeine can cause dangerous increases in heart rate and nervous-system activity.

🌰 Macadamia Nuts can cause weakness, vomiting, tremors, and other signs of toxicity in dogs.

🥑 Avocado is best avoided, especially the pit, skin, and leaves. The pit can also pose a choking or intestinal blockage risk.
