The Hollywood Sign, California. This Sign was originally erected as an advertisement for a real estate project in 1923 at Mt Lee. It measured 30 ft (ht) x 50 ft (L), painted white, lighted up by 4000 light bulbs and read HOLLYWOOD LAND. It was shortened later to “HOLLYWOOD”, a description of the area which had become popular thanks to the Golden Age of Cinema in America. Thus, it has evolved into an iconic landmark.

The M Grill Brazilian Churascaria, LA, at the 2nd floor of a nondescript grey building, looked abandoned and deserted from the outside. But stepping in is comparable to a Bacchanalia in Meat Wonderland! Let me explain: A Churascaria (“BBQ” from Portuguese) is a Brazilian buffet where 17 different kinds and cuts of meats is distributed to all customers by servers (waiters) straight from the grill in skewers, thus, you just stay “in-the-ground”. This is called the Rodizio style of serving, like the Vaquieros/Gauchos of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. However, salad and soup are on the buffet table, which you go to. Fresh🍍 brushed with cane sugar and also roasted is the ultimate dessert!
