Our fighter patient after her surgery for pyometra. ❤️💕

Pyometra is a severe, life-threatening infection of the uterus that causes it to fill with bacteria and pus. It typically develops in middle-aged to older, unspayed female dogs as a result of hormonal changes following a heat cycle.

Good thing, her furparents decided for her to undergo surgery and now, she is recovering very well. 🥹❤️

After successfully recovering from blood parasitism for more than a month of treatment, sadly, Luna is again battling concurrent hepatic and renal disease, along with a diagnosis of canine parvoviral infection.

Our team and her furparents are continuously providing comprehensive supportive care and close monitoring for her.

We started the day last week with pure drama and chaos.

A patient came in with bleeding ears, a blocked tomcat with stressed furdad, patients with different cases,a boarder who screams a lot, tears of joy from clients with at last negative results from their furbabies’ confirmatory test, and tears of sorrow from clients with furbabies who didn’t make it.

It is not ALWAYS rainbows and butterflies over here. More like IV fluids and thunderstorms. But every storm we weather in vet med? Worth it for the ones we save and the hearts that we healed.

Patient was rushed to our clinic due to non-stop bleeding on her ear.

The patient was seen by an initial vet but they were advised to visit another clinic in Cabanatuan City for proper treatment.

Upon checking, a ruptured ear polyp was causing the continuous bleeding that needs to be surgically removed immediately.

Patient had undergone CBC and result showed extremely low RBC and Hemoglobin due to blood loss.

The patient was then prepped for surgery and the polyp was removed carefully an successfully.

We sincerely thank other clients for giving way in emergency cases like this.
