Remember that our pets can also suffer from the fatal heat stroke, especially with the upcoming records of high temperature index.

During the summer, pets often suffer from heat stroke, particularly in hot, humid settings. Any age, breed, or gender of dog can be affected by this life threatening condition. Any elevated body temperature in dogs beyond 104°F (40°C) that is non-pyrogenic and accompanied by a range of systemic symptoms is referred to as heatstroke. The following guidelines explain the symptoms and signs of heat stroke in dogs as well as how to deal with it.

Signs:
🚨Excessive panting, difficulty in breathing and excessive thirst
🚨Drooling and bright red gums
🚨Restless and staggering
🚨Collapsing or seizures
🚨Vomiting
🚨High body temperature

What to do? 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁! 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🗣️
✅Move pet into a cool and ventilated area.
✅Offer SMALL amounts of water for hydration.
✅Apply cooling pack gradually.
✅Take your dog to the vet asap.

How to keep your pet cool:
💦Ensure drinking water and a well ventilated spot is always available.
🦮Restrict exercise especially during hot hours.
🫧Spray with cool water.
🚗Never leave your pets in a car or hot room.
🚨Be aware of your dog’s health issue.
