A CASE OF ABANDONMENT

This furry friend was abandoned at Cabugao and a concerned citizen found and brought him at our clinic last July.

On that day, Vanilla's owner also messaged us. Having a consent to treat Vanilla's condition and stay at our clinic, "hanggang gumaling" (Demodecosis with severe pyoderma; Corneal ulceration and cataract; Kidney problem).

Vanilla was confined at our facility for observation and treatment for a month. Despite all our efforts to contact the owner, they never showed up. Then suddenly, the owner told us that they don't have funds to settle Vanilla's bill. This saddened us not because of the unsettled bill, but because Vanilla is waiting for his owner.

It's so difficult to understand how somebody could have a lovely creature like this in their home and then just cast them aside.

GENTLE REMINDER:
Please let us be a responsible pet owner. Don't own a pet if you'll just abandon them when they get sick. They don't deserve it. It is very important to understand that getting a dog is a lifetime commitment and responsibility.
