I AM A FILIPINO, AND WE STAND UNITED FOR DUTERTE!
The logo serves as a powerful emblem of a nationalistic movement standing firmly against the transfer of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC). It embodies the collective voice of the Filipino people who believe that justice for Duterte should be decided by Filipinos, within the Philippine legal system, and not dictated by foreign powers. This emblem is not just an image—it is a call to action, a statement of defiance against what many perceive as an affront to our national dignity and independence.
At the heart of the logo is a radiant sun with a human face, a strong nod to the Philippine flag and our nation’s identity. This sun represents not only Duterte himself but also the Filipino people’s unwavering spirit, resilience, and sovereignty. Surrounding it are symbols of justice, including the scales, which traditionally stand for fairness and due process. Yet, in this context, they serve as a stark reminder that Duterte’s rights are being denied—that justice, instead of being served impartially, is being manipulated by foreign entities.
The colors of the Philippine flag—blue for peace, red for courage, and white for purity—are prominently featured, reinforcing the patriotic message that this is a fight for the nation, not just for one man. The stars and circular design evoke unity, representing the millions of Filipinos rallying together to defend their sovereignty and reject external interference in our country’s affairs.
Most strikingly, the text “ICC” serves as a clear indictment of the International Criminal Court’s actions, suggesting that its involvement is not about justice but about political persecution. The logo sends a resounding message to the world: the Philippines is a sovereign nation, and no foreign entity has the right to dictate our justice system or take away one of our own without due process recognized by our Constitution.
To every Filipino who values independence, fairness, and the rule of law, this symbol is a rallying cry. It is an appeal to the world to recognize that what is happening is not just about Duterte—it is about the very essence of Philippine sovereignty. It is a warning against the dangerous precedent of allowing foreign powers to interfere in our legal system and a firm declaration that justice in the Philippines belongs to the Filipino people alone.
Let this emblem be seen, shared, and understood by the global community. Let it remind the world that the Philippines will not stand idly by while its sovereignty is trampled. Justice for Duterte is justice for the Philippines.
