Rabies is deadly but 100% preventable through vaccination. Yet many strays are still hurt or killed because people assume drooling, red eyes, or aggression automatically means “rabid.”

That’s not true! Rabies spreads when the saliva of an infected animal enters another animal or human through bites, scratches, or even open wounds.

Many strays and homeless animals are just sick, injured, or scared. Misinformation leads to cruelty and because of human ignorance, innocent animals suffer.
