Rabies is a deadly viral disease that affects the brain and nervous system. It spreads mainly through the bites of infected animals, especially dogs, bats, and other wild animals. Once symptoms appear, rabies is almost always fatal, but it is 100% preventable with early treatment.

Transmission: Through bites, scratches, or saliva of infected animals.

Symptoms: Fever, confusion, fear of water, paralysis, and eventually death.

Prevention: Vaccinate pets, avoid wild animals, and seek medical help after animal bites.

Treatment: Immediate wound washing and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) can save lives.

Act fast! Rabies can be prevented, but not cured once symptoms start.

Lubos po ang aming pasasalamat sa buong team ng Dasmariñas City Veterinary Services sa pangunguna ng ating butihing City Veterinary, Doc. Andrew Mangubat Buencamino in partnership with Paws and Feathers Pet and Poultry Supply & Dasmariñas Animal Advocate Club, sa Barangay Sabang City of Dasmariñas, Cavite sa pamumuno ni Kap. Kenneth Saria and council.

Through this meaningful initiative, we were able to reached more than 220 pets vaccinated with anti-rabies, and 27 castrated male dogs and cats, providing them with safer and happier lives while fostering responsible pet care and genuine love from every pet parent.

By embracing responsible pet parenthood, we not only safeguard the well-being of our pets but also nurture a healthier, safer, and more compassionate community for all.
