Meet Needle, a brave female dog who came to our clinic after experiencing signs of urinary discomfort. Following a thorough physical examination and diagnostic imaging, she was diagnosed with urinary bladder stones (urolithiasis).

To remove the stones and restore normal urinary function, Needle underwent a cystotomy, a surgical procedure performed to safely access the urinary bladder and remove the uroliths. The surgery was successful, and the stones were completely removed.

With appropriate medications, pain management, post-operative monitoring, and dedicated care from her family, Needle recovered well and is now back to enjoying a comfortable, healthier life.
Urinary bladder stones can lead to pain, recurrent urinary tract infections, and even life-threatening urinary obstruction if left untreated.

Early recognition of symptoms—such as frequent urination, straining, blood in the urine, or difficulty passing urine—and prompt veterinary care are essential for a successful outcome.

Thank you to Needle's family for trusting us with her care. We're so happy to see this brave girl back on her paws! 💙🐶
