Dear Pet Owners and Petfriends,

For the safety of our staff, clients, and furry companions, Petfriends Animal Clinic will be closed tomorrow, September 26,2025 due to the incoming typhoon.

🐶🐱 Safety Tips for Your Pets During the Typhoon:

✅Bring your pets indoors (if they usually roam outdoors). Keep them in a safe, enclosed space away from windows and glass.
✅Provide a cozy bed and familiar items (blankets, toys) to help reduce stress and anxiety.
✅Ensure food, water, and any medications are easily accessible.
✅If flooding threatens, keep pets lifted or in higher areas of the home.
✅Do not leave pets restrained (on a leash or chain) outdoors — they may panic, try to break free, or become exposed to danger.
✅Monitor your pet’s behavior. If you see signs of distress (panting heavily, shaking, hiding, whining, refusing to eat), be ready to relocate to a safer area or seek help.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and worry this may cause you and your beloved pets. We’re committed to resuming full services as soon as the weather clears and to making sure your pets get the care they need. Your safety and your pets’ well-being are our top priorities.

We are proud to share the successful case of our canine patient named Milo, who recently underwent a Prescrotal Urethrostomy, a specialized surgical procedure performed to address urethral obstruction.

🔎 What is Prescrotal Urethrostomy?
It is a surgical technique where a new opening is created in the urethra to allow urine to pass normally.

This procedure is often recommended for male dogs suffering from:
