Meet Peanut, our brave and lovable Siberian Husky! 🐾💙

Peanut was brought to Akkadia Veterinary Clinic after showing signs of a serious condition. After a thorough examination, she was diagnosed with pyometra, a severe uterine infection, with a possible rupture. Because the infection had already progressed and signs of sepsis were present, our team immediately proceeded with emergency surgery.

The infected uterus and ovaries were successfully removed, and we are happy to share that Peanut is recovering wonderfully! Throughout her stay, Peanut has won the hearts of everyone in the clinic with her sweet personality, gentle nature, and those beautiful Husky eyes. 🐶✨

Her story is an important reminder for all fur parents that pyometra is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate veterinary attention. Early diagnosis and treatment can make all the difference.

An elective cesarean section was successfully performed on this cute pure white Pomeranian, resulting in the safe delivery of healthy puppies.

Elective C-section is very important, especially for dogs that are prone to difficult labor (dystocia). Proper timing of the procedure is essential to ensure the safety of both the mother and the puppies.

One of the most reliable guides for timing is progesterone testing. When the progesterone level drops to below 1.5 ng/mL, it generally indicates that it is a safe window to perform a cesarean section, even if there are no visible signs of labor yet.

Early planning and accurate diagnostics help ensure a safe delivery and healthy puppies. 🐾

It’s been a roller coaster ride with our brave little patient, Sky.
Despite battling chronic heart disease and a ruptured mass in his neck, and facing unpromising vitals and lab results, Sky defied the odds and pulled through like the warrior he truly is.

We are incredibly grateful to Sky’s parents for entrusting us with his care and for allowing us to be part of his journey.
Thank you for your faith, strength, and unwavering love you are just as much warriors as he is. 💙

Meet “PAU PAU” one of our special patient, she is already 13 years old, a very loyal and compassionate dog.

She was brought to the clinic with chronic vaginal bleeding that causes her RBC and platelet values drop to a critical level, despite the high risk she is very lucky to have a family that support her and give the chance.

LUCKILY ! We were able to perform an immediate OVARIOHYSTERECTOMY in less than 20 mins! This minimizes the exposure of anesthetics that may cause risk of her condition.

We are Grateful and very happy to be part of her recovery, Now she is very happy to be back with her family that love her unconditionally!

What a wonderful way to kick off the year with such positive news for Charlie! It’s heartwarming to hear that despite such a critical situation, he’s now on the path to recovery. Sending love and good vibes to Charlie and his family for a healthy and happy year ahead!

Charlie was diagnosed with canine ehrlichiosis and his platelet and rbc was critically low, immediate blood transfusion was performed, Very happy with the outcome and he is now recovering with his family 🙏🙏
