Excited to share the collaboration of Biyaya Animal Care , Cebu City Government-Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries , and IRO for the biggest Spay and Neuter event on October 10, 11, and 12 in Cebu City.

𝙉𝙊 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀 𝙍𝙀𝙂𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉!

The event operates on a first-come, first-served basis, as per the schedule below. You may start lining up at 7AM. There is no limit; an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 cats and dogs will be spayed or neutered. Let's be responsible pet owners and take advantage of this opportunity to reduce the stray population and lessen the chance of animals ending up on the streets. Let's help together!

Sur, was born 12/27/23 from a litter of 5 puppies. she was the only one that survived. the other puppies died of an unknown cause. i named her Sur, kay short for ‘survivor’ 🤎 we had to take her in ky si mama dog, for some reason gi abandon mn nuon si Sur. dli na sya gnahan mgpa dede ☹️

mama dog is a silingan dog, she is fed & cared for nman but dli sya magahinan ug panahon pra ma pa spay hence the cycle of unwanted (unplanned) puppies repeats. she is currently nursing another set of 5 pups 🤦‍♀️

“ipa spay nlng ug apil si mama dog maam.” – I tried. mao bitaw nang memorize nko kanus-a naanak si Sur bcoz the plan was to spay mama dog after 3-4mos from giving birth. kaso lang dli jd sya sayon. yes, dli sya mamaghot & mgpa hikap sya pero dli jd sya mgpa hukot. masuko jd sya & I fear nga basin mapaakan hinuon mi. nkapalit nkog muzzle for her pero dli gani namo ma huktan, muzzle pa kha? 🥴 unsaon nlng kha among hitsura enig byahe padulong DVMF basin mag wild ra sya didto, not to mention the post-op care. nag imagine pa lang ko, murag struggle is real telege 😵‍💫 it is still a pending task i intend to accomplish nga ma pa spay namo si mama dog & her new pups. laban lang jd ta ani sa out of pocket expenses. shene all Heart E. nga money is not an issue 😂

why am I sharing this? to remind all pet owners … PLEASE take the time to spay/ligate (female) or neuter/kapon (male) your pets. mu tabang ta nga dli ta mka dugang sa overpopulation of stray cats & dogs. aha pman diay ga gikan ning mga strays? it is usually from these unwanted litters. it is not enough that we provide them w food. we really have to get them spayed or neutered. mao jd ni pinka best nga solution kung dli ka gnahan mag labad imong ulo kay sige rag panganak imong dog/cat.

“mahal mn ged ang byad.” – mka palit gani kag bag-ong celpon. mka parebond gani kas imong buhok kada tuig pa, dba? 😂 ang pagpa spay/neuter ka isa ra na. also, naay dghan options kung gustohon nato. dghan na kaau krn low cost spay, neuter. kung mahal gihapon - tigumi uy. kung dli gnahan mka gasto pra pang spay/neuter, then pls lang, ayaw nlng jud pag buhi ug dog or cat 📌

NGANONG MANG LABAY MAN GUID??! naa may laing dghang pamagi. pero nganong naa guiy mga tawo nga mka-akog sulod sa sako, hiktan ug ilabay sa sapa 🤬😤 ka grabiiii nlng guid ka mga salbahis mga klase's tawo.

this happened today around 6:30-7p nkadungog mig sigeg syagit nga iring sa sapa. pag flashlight namo, ga gikan ang tingog sa gamay nga sako nga gilabay sa sapa. so tua ga dali² tawon ning isa ug adto sa sapa pra kuhaon ang kitten.

i had to mute the video kay hastang punguta guid aning isa. ga sige tawon ug pam*sti sa ka sapot nya. kinsa man tawon dli masapot mkakita kag ingon ani? gi hikut pman guid ang sako sa mga salbahis nga tawong nag labay ani nga mga kittens. bskan pag unsa pa na nga rason, wlay valid wlay acceptable reason guid ang manglabay ug iring or iro. ANG GABA DLI RASAB GUID MAGSABA!!!

sa mga ga huna² dihag "tana gilubong ninyo ang 2 nga patay ky kaluoy, tana wla gi bilin sa sapa" — ang gi priority namo ang buhi! kay wa mi kabalo pila na tawon ni sya ka oras nabasa. gi tugnaw. gi gutom. nasamad pa tawon ang tiil aning isa ky nka sanghid sya ug basura nga naay buak sa kadali-dali nya nga ma kuha ang kitten.

i had to give her a quick warm bath kay hugaw tawon sya and baho. gi dali² ra nko kay nag kurog² tawon. grabii guid ka way batasan sa nag labay 🤬😤 up to this moment while writing this post galagot pa guid gihapon ko.

mao na sa mga ga plano diha nga mag buhi buhi'g iring or iro. huna hunaa sa ninyog tarong. ay mu sigeg pataka kung dli man diay mu ka pa kapon or pa laygit. ay mu sigeg binogo ky mka sapot! daghan na kaau krn ang mga nag offer ug Low Cost Spay/Neuter, naay free i-offer sa mga brgys, naay DVMF. in short naay dghan pamaagi. pls lang! dli ta manglabay. ipa kapon, ipa laygit inyong cats! that is the BEST & ONLY SOLUTION. dghan kaau mga tawo willing mu assist kung mag inquire mu. kung gusto, dali kaau mangitag pamaagi. kung dli gusto, puro ra guid rason 🙄 sayun ra kaau mgpa schedule ug pa kapon/laygit. nganong kaya mn sa uban? nganong matagaan mn ug panahon sa uban? unya ikaw dli guid??! mao ilabay nlng? loslos. ayaw mu pag pet kung dli nimo kaya mgpaka responsable. ga dugang² ra ka sa gipang sagubang nga problema sa mga shelters & rescuers.

… and oh, yes you guessed it right. we named him/her “Sapa” i dont know yet kung male ba sya or female. either way, ma bayi man sya or llaki, we will giver her all the love, food & cuddles s/he deserves … … … and YES, IPA KAPON NAMO SIYA EG SAKTO NA SYAG EDAD! 😤

grabii na guid ka init 🥵🔥 please regularly leave clean drinking water outside your homes/gates for stray dogs/cats’ easy access.

a very common problem that can be avoided if we take the time to SPAY (ligate) our pets. even if your pet dog/cat is male, ipa-kapon (NEUTER) guid dapat gihapon.
